The Embassy of South Africa is organizing a day of service to honor the life of the late Nelson Mandela.
The day of service will be held on Saturday, which would have been the former president's 96th birthday.
The embassy is asking participants to volunteer for 67 minutes, a minute for each year of Mandela's public service.
If you are looking for a volunteer project, you can help clean up the street near the Good Hope Marketplace on Alabama Avenue. That project begins at 9 a.m.
