If your weekend plans include riding the Metro, you can expect longer wait times, as a slew of reconstruction projects continue from Friday to Sunday.
Changes to Metro services this weekend are as follows:
- Red Line trains will run every 20 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont and every 20 minutes between Grosvenor and NoMa-Gallaudet.
- Orange Line trains will run every 20 minutes.
- The Blue Line will run every 20 minutes.
- Yellow Line trains will run every 20 minutes between Huntington and Mt. Vernon Square only, rather than Fort Trotten.
Green Line trains will run on a regular weekend schedule at all stations throughout the weekend. All changes begin at 10 p.m. Friday and continue through the system closing on Sunday.
