Someone spotted a man's body floating in the Potomac River near Hains Point Wednesday afternoon.
DC Harbor Patrol got the call about 4 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they pulled the man out of the water and took the body to the James Creek Marina.
Police have not identified the man. They do not know how old he is but believe he is an adult.
They also don't know how he ended up in the water.
