Arrest Made in Va. Mall Bathroom Assaults

A 23-year-old Sterling, Virginia, man has been arrested in connection with a series of assaults in the county, including two that took place inside a Dulles Town Center bathroom.

Meredith S. Wyatt, 23, was arrested on June 2 after allegedly touching a 27-year-old woman inappropriately from behind as she walked in a grocery store in the 22300 block of S. Sterling Boulevard.

Investigators say the suspect touched the victim from behind again after she confronted him and walked away.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office believes Wyatt is also responsible for three other assaults in the county.

The first incident was reported May 14, when a 62-year-old woman reported that a man reached under a stall and grabbed her.

Police say a similar incident was reported around 11:30 p.m. Friday, when a 16-year-old girl was inappropriately touched by a man inside a stall next to her.

Wyatt is also accused of grabbing a 57-year-old woman from behind as she walked in the 200 block of W. Holly Avenue on May 25.
