An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday morning, several hours after police activated it in Maryland for a missing 12-year-old girl believed to be with a 23-year-old man.
No details on why the alert were canceled are available at this time.
Baltimore police believe Oscar Jonatan Cruz took the girl, Heydi Chavarria.
Chavarria may be wearing a yellow shirt, blue pants and white shoes. She was last seen about 9 p.m. in the area of the 1700 block of McHenry Street.
Cruz could be driving a 2003 Honda Accord with Maryland tags 8DM8821.
He is described as a Hispanic man who is 5 feet 6 inches and 184 pounds.
Police are asking anyone who sees them to call 911.
