A suspected child molester was captured by Fairfax County police.
Edmond N. Londres was wanted by Fairfax County police for aggravated sexual battery. He was arrested at his family’s home in Woodbridge, Va.
On Monday investigators for the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force received a tip that Londres may be performing sexual acts on a minor.
Following an interview with Londres, two additional warrants were issued, including rape and a second offense of aggravated sexual battery.
Detectives say that Londres allegedly performed sexual acts on a minor for 10 years.
Londres’s criminal history includes larceny, statutory burglary, receiving stolen property and unlawful entry.
