D.C. Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in the 1900 block of 18th Street Southeast early Thursday morning.
Investigators say that the victim was walking in the area shortly before 5 a.m. when she was approached by a man who brandished a gun and demanded money. Police say the woman complied with the man before he sexually assaulted her.
After the assault, the victim told police that the man walked her to an ATM and forced her to withdraw more money.
The man was last seen walking in the 1300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast. He is described as having a medium complexion, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, and having a slim build with dreadlocks in his hair.
