Weather May Have Contributed to Fatal Crash

    A man was killed in an early morning crash on the Suitland Parkway in Forestville, Md.

    Icy roads and foggy skies may be to blame for a fatal crash duirng the Monday morning rush in Prince George's County, Md.

    U.S. Park Police said two vehicles collided near the intersection of the Suitland Parkway and Meadowview Road in Forestville.

    Shawn Bowman, 32, of Suitland, Md., was critically injured after his car overturned in the crash. He was taken to the Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, Md., where he later died.

    A woman and baby in the other car were also injured, but are expected to be OK.

    Investigators are trying to figure out what led up to the crash.

    "One of the things we're going to be looking into is road conditions ... it was foggy this morning," said Sgt. David Schlosser.
