Worker Rescued From 30-Foot Well in Upper Marlboro

Prince George's County Fire and EMS treated a man rescued from a 30-foot wet well at a WSSC construction site in Upper Marlboro, Md., Friday afternoon.

The 19-year-old contractor fell only a few feet into the hole but suffered a back injury, which necessitated the rescue effort, News4 Prince George's County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins reported.

He was removed from the hole about 4 p.m. and taken to a hospital.
