Vandals slashed the tires of more than 25 vehicles in Fairfax County in one night earlier this month, authorities say.
The offenders targeted vehicles in the Huntington area between 9 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 5:15 a.m. on Sept. 2, Fairfax County Crime Solvers said. Most were parked in the 8500 block of Cameron Run Terrace, although one was in the 2000 block of Huntington Avenue.
The total cost of the damage is estimated to be in the thousands.
