Police Search for SUV of Beltsville Homicide Victim

U.S. Park Police are looking for a homicide victim's missing SUV after the man's body was found on the grounds of the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.

The body was found near Powder Mill Road and Springfield Drive in a field Tuesday.

Police have not yet released the victim's identity.

On Wednesday, they released a photo of a 1996 Ford Explorer XL similar to the one the victim drove. The vehicle is gold/tan with a VIN of 1FMDU34X4TUC18675.

The victim has used different license plates in the past, so the current tag number is unknown, authorities said.

Anyone who sees the vehicle should use caution because the person using it now should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
