The Frederick County Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a 3-month-old boy.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the 5900 block of Picnic Woods Road in Jefferson, Md., at 7:48 p.m. Sunday for a report of an unresponsive infant.
Police say the baby was flown to Children's National Medical Center, where he died the next day.
The medical examiner's office in D.C. will determine the cause of death.
An official with the sheriff's office says there were no visible injuries on the infant.
The case will remain a death investigation until the autopsy is complete.
