About five dozen Prince George's County firefighters and medics will be on duty for tonight’s long-anticipated matchup of Barcelona vs. Manchester United during the World Football Challenge at FedEx field.

Authorities hope the extra hands will help to ensure the safety of fans, players and workers as the two best soccer teams in the world face off.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m., and while some stars, including Lionel Messi, will not play, fans will still be able to see some of the best footballers in the world.

If you are attending the game tonight you are encouraged to arrive early. The parking lot will be open as early as 3 p.m., and the gates will open at 5 p.m.
