Man Charged with Attempted Murder, Arson for Burning Neighbor's Home

Baltimore County police have charged an Essex man with burning his neighbor's house.

Sixty-five-year-old John Wesley Mosley has been charged with attempted murder and arson in Tuesday morning's fire. He is being held without bail.

Three people were injured the fire, including the resident, who was rescued by a neighbor and a police officer.

Police say the resident told officers that she had been in an argument with Mosley Tuesday morning and was calling 911 when she heard a loud noise and saw fire and shattered windows.

Investigators say no hazardous materials were found Mosley's property, but an accelerant-sniffing dog had a positive reaction.
