People living in Maryland can soon go back-to-school shopping tax free.
Shoppers will not have to pay a 6% state sales tax during the Shop Maryland event. It runs from August 14th through August 20th.
Tax-free savings only applies to clothing and shoes less than $100.
It does not apply for school supplies.
