Man Rescued After Wall Collapse in Southeast D.C.

D.C. Fire and EMS rescued a man from under a pile of bricks after a wall collapse just after 2 p.m. Friday in Southeast.

The man was buried to his waist after the collapse at a row house under renovation in the 1000 block of 13 Street SE.

The man was conscious and alert during the rescue. He is in critical condition at Washington Hospital Center.
