Man Found Electrocuted in Prince George's County

Aluminum ladder touches overhead power lines

A 30-year old man in Prince George's County died Saturday morning after the aluminum ladder he was working on came into contact with overhead power lines.

Firefighters and paramedics responding to the scene at the 6600 block of Grafton Street in District Heights could not approach the victim as the man and the immediate area were still energized.

Pepco arrived and turned off the power.  Paramedics evaluated the man and pronounced him dead. 

The Prince George's County Police Department is handling the investigation.  The man's identity has not been released.
