SPRAY TAN ROBBERS
Exploreharford.com: "Two people robbed a Bel Air paintball business at knifepoint Tuesday afternoon, using a heavy application of spray-on tanning agent as a disguise, police said. According to a spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, a call was received call 4:47 p.m. for an armed robbery of JC Paintballs in the 100 block of North Tollgate Road in Bel Air, in a strip of stores across from Harford Mall. Two employees in the store, an adult and a juvenile, told deputies a knife was displayed, according to Monica Worrell, public information officer for the sheriff’s office."
DC RESIDENTS UNABLE TO REGISTER HANDGUNS

A temporary, de facto ban is in place because the one man who could facilitate handgun ownership in the nation's capital has stopped taking registration orders."
SHOES GIVEN IN CIVIL SETTLEMENT
The Capital: "Eric Ali never was criminally charged in the beating death of a 14-year-old boy in Crofton nearly two years ago. Jenny Adkins and David Jones each hold a shoe they received as part of a civil settlement in the death of their son, Christopher Jones, who was beaten to death in 2009. The $150 pair of New Balance sneakers was worn to court by one of the defendants.
But yesterday, he paid a price for any involvement he had in the 2009 attack on Christopher Jones - by handing over his size 9½ New Balance sneakers to the dead boy's parents and walking out of the Anne Arundel County Courthouse in his socks.
"It was priceless," said Christopher's mother, Jennifer Adkins. "My son is probably looking down smiling from ear to ear now."
