CAR BROKE DOWN, WOMAN ASSAULTED
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported sexual battery that occurred last night on a rural road near Leesburg. A 38-year-old Leesburg woman reported she was riding with a family member in the area of Gleedsville Road and Woodside Place when the vehicle broke down around 7 p.m. She decided to walk to get assistance. (Leesburg Today)

POSTAL SERVICE CUTS
The U.S. Postal Service is moving forward with its plan to reduce mail delivery to five days a week. The Postal Service Board of Governors on Wednesday approved management’s request to cut most Saturday deliveries and will file a request for an advisory opinion with the Postal Regulatory Commission on March 30. Any change in delivery would also require Congressional approval.  (Washington Business Journal)

WANTED! FIRE STARTERS
After 23 students were arrested in connection with the post-Duke game riot earlier this month, University and Prince George’s County Police vowed to make more arrests after reviewing video footage and identifying others who incited the night of chaos.Three weeks later, no further arrests have been made. But police officials said that’s not for a lack of investigating. Because police only have photo and video evidence of masses of nameless students, it will take time to identify and prosecute those who engaged in arson and destroyed property during the rioting and the ensuing police actions. HONEY, IT'S SWEET
A Frederick County honey producer wants the state to enact standards for the sweet substance. Byron Rice, owner of Lord Byron's Honey near Thurmont , said much of the honey sold in stores is mixed with high-fructose corn syrup or cane sugar but labeled as honey. (Frederick News Post)
