FBI Looking for Dapper Bandit in Virginia

Suspected in 10 NYC robberies

The FBI believes a man wanted for a string of New York City bank robberies may be living in Virginia.

Dana Connor, dubbed the "Dapper Bandit," is suspected in 10 robberies around Manhattan since September 21.  Law enforcement gave him the nickname because they say he appears in security camera footage wearing fine white shirts paired with an overcoat.

Police think that Connor might be commuting back and forth to the city from a hideout in Virginia.

He's described as 52-years-old, 5'7" tall, 210 pounds, with a tattoo across his chest that says "Moe Love."  The FBI says he sometimes refers to himself as Maurice.

Anyone with information on the suspect has been asked to call the FBI at 212-384-1000.
