All Clear at Dupont Circle Metro Station

The Dupont Circle Metro Station reopened after 2 p.m. Saturday after being closed due to police activity for more than an hour.

Police said they received a call about a bomb threat at 12:58 p.m.

Trains passed through the station but didn't stop as police conducted a security sweep of the station.

Metro requested bus service to shuttle Red Line riders between Dupont Circle and the Woodley Park and Farragut North stations.
