Arson Arousal Gets Man 27 Years in Prison

FREDERICK, Md. -- A Jefferson man said arson turns him on, and he was sentenced to 27 years in prison because of it, according to the Frederick News-Post.

Wayne Duncan told a doctor arson sexually arouses him, according to court testimony. Calling the doctor reports "scary," a circuit court judge sentenced him to 27 years in prison and five years probation for an August arson.

Duncan, 29, set fire to a house with four people sleeping in it, the News-Post reported. Three were taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation, and one of the residents' dogs died.

Ten days earlier, Duncan set fire to the H.C. Summers feed store, which has been around for more than 100 years, the News-Post reported.
