Virginia State Police say an Amber Alert for a 5-year-old girl has been cancelled after the child was found safe in Accomack County.
Police say Amiyah Monet Dallas was last seen with her aunt, Olivia Nicole Dallas, on Feb. 18 at 15239 Mountain Track Rd. in Orange, Va. Authorities believed the child was in imminent danger; Olivia Dallas has an alleged history of depression and drug use.
A state trooper spotted Dallas' burgundy 2001 C240 Mercedes just before 1 p.m. Wednesday in Accomack County. Amiyah was found safe, and Olivia Dallas was taken into custody without incident, Virginia State Police spokesperson Corrine Geller said.
