A crash involving a school bus in D.C. sent five teenagers and two adults to the hospital.
The Prince George's County, Md., school bus was carrying special needs students when it was involved in a crash with a van and a truck at about 3:45 p.m. at 51st Street and Southern Avenue in southeast Washington, D.C. fire department spokesman Pete Piringer said.
Emergency responders took the five teens and two adults to a hospital for evaluations, Piringer said. Their injuries are not serious.
The cause of the crash wasn't immediately clear.
