A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in Southeast Washington Monday night.
Officers were called to the 300 block of 37th Street SE just before 8 p.m for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Luke Holt of Northeast suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made.
