10 AM Shooting Kills One in Northeast

    Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday morning in northeast D.C.

    The shooting occurred at 332 18th Place, shortly after 10 a.m.

    The victim was 48-year-old Howard Harold Williams of Northeast D.C.  Authorities said Williams was unconscious when they arrived on the scene, and had suffered multiple gun shot wounds.

    On Saturday evening, police arrested 21-year-old Lester James Wright in connection to the homicide.
