Mental Health First Aid Resources

Since 2001, the National Council for Behavioral Health has been working to fight stigma associated with mental illness with the creation of the Mental Health First Aid program.

The certification program is an 8-hour course that teaches participants how to assess risk factors, identify symptoms, support individuals in crisis and provide information on resource centers.
