Smoothie (for Kids!)
Ask your parents to help you with this recipe.
Ingredients:
One 6-8 oz container strawberry, strawberry/banana or plain low fat or no fat yogurt
3 ice cubes
1 small banana
4 strawberries (fresh, or unsweetened frozen)
3/4 cup pineapple or orange juice
Steps:
Child: Empty one 6-8 oz. container strawberry, strawberry/banana or plain low fat or no fat yogurt into blender.
Health
Child: Count 3 ice cubes and put in blender. Break 1 small banana into pieces. Add to blender.
Child: Put 4 strawberries fresh or unsweetened frozen into blender. (If fresh, remove stem)
Adult: Help your child measure 3/4 cup pineapple or orange juice and pour into blender. Help your child blend in blender until smooth and serve.
