WWJSE: What Would Jon Stewart Eat?

Stewart Will Hit Ollie's Trolley

Last night, at a taping of The Daily Show at Sidney Harman Hall in D.C. we asked Jon Stewart where he's planning on eating while he's here: "Ollie’s Trolley looks pretty good," Stewart said.

The burger joint has been a mainstay of D.C. family dining for more than 30 years, and is only a 10-minute walk from Harman Hall. Keep a lookout for Stewart and his staff  enjoying an Ollie Burger and an old fashioned milkshake.

Where else might he and the cast eat? Here are some suggestions, Jon: The Mexican smallplates eatery Oyamel is just down the street from Harman Hall, and executive chef Joe Raffa has a great sense of humor, so we bet you two would get along.

If you're looking to rub elbows with D.C. political elite, head to Charlie Palmer Steak, which in July was declared by U.S. News and World Report the top restaurant for members of Congress. And if you're just looking for a place to kick back, check out Capitol City Brewery, which, no surprise, is well-known for its in-house brews -- established in 1992, its downtown location was D.C.'s first brewpub since Prohibition.
