White House/ Black Market, the rather conservative, all black and white "everything you need for a school picnic" retailer has closed it's doors in Georgetown next door to Steve Madden and Wink.
Part of a series of closings in recent weeks which include Pottery Barn, Club Monaco, and MAC, there's no word yet on what will step in to replace the dichromatic retailer, although we guess it will be something on the smaller scale, since the space itself is rather small compared to neighboring stores. We vote for the Body Shop to reopen.
