The annual Running of the Brides at Filene's Basement will take place this Friday, April 29 at 8am at Mazza Gallerie in Friendship Heights.
Prices on wedding dreses will be slashed up to 90 percent, but you'll have to work to get them. By work we mean, arrive at the store at 4am and eat McDonald's for breakfast (if they're nice enough to open early for you like they did last year), wait in line until the doors open at 8am and stampede through the doors to grab a random selection of dresses not organized by size in the hopes of getting one that fits, then bring your own mirror and hide in a corner and change while your friends walk around trying to trade for dresses in your size.
If you're lucky, you'll walk out of there with a perfect wedding dress at a perfect dress. Good luck!
