Three men were found stabbed to death in a normally quiet Springfield neighborhood.
The incident unfolded during an altercation at a house in the 5400 block of Moultrie Road at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Neighbors said they heard a loud argument just before police were called to the scene. One man who was stabbed in the ordeal ran to a neighbor's house, witnesses said.
Ron Lyerly heard the commotion and, along with another neighbor, tried to help. The injured man told them there were two other victims inside the home across the street, Lyerly said.
All three men -- 38-year-old Terence Strope, 26-year-old Ryan Strope and 26-year-old Andres Yelicie -- were taken to a local hospital, where they later died.
Police do not have a motive for the crime. Authorities said they are also not sure if they should be on a lookout for suspects because all all three victims died before they could talk to investigators.
Police did tow several cars from the scene and removed physical evidence from the home.
The incident remains under investigation.
