DC Police Release Picture of Kidnapping, Sex Assault Culprit

Woman kidnapped in NE Washington

D.C. police released a picture Monday of a man accused of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint and then bringing her to Prince George's County where she was sexually assaulted.

The incident started in the early morning hours of Nov. 9 in the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue NE.

That's where the man ordered the woman into a black Dodge Charger with Virginia license plates at gun point, police said.

The man then drove the woman to Prince George's County, where he tried to get money from her bank account, police said.

She was then taken to a wooded area where she was sexually assaulted, according to police.
