Country crooner LeAnn Rimes can't seem to quit ex-lover Eddie Cibrian, her married former costar whose wife is calling Rimes a stalker.
"LeAnn is a stalker," Brandi Glanville, who has two kids with Cibrian, Rimes' costar on the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights," told Us magazine this week.
"She refuses to leave us alone -- it is shameful and scary," Glanville said.
Rimes responded to the accusations via her rep Wednesday, saying Glanville's claims are "defamatory."
"These comments are incredibly defamatory," a spokesperson for Rimes said.
"While there are always two sides to every story, LeAnn continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press," the rep said.
Rimes, who is married to dancer Dean Sheremet, was caught on a date with Cibrian in March after filming wrapped on their movie. The two ended their dalliance -- but Glanville said Rimes has been following Cibrian and tracked him to a May 17 Lakers game, where she showed up unannounced.
Cibrian also had to change his phone number to stop Rimes from incessantly calling, Glanville said
"People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance," the scorned wife said.
Rimes shot to fame when she released her Grammy-winning song "Blue" as a teenager. She's since released several albums and has attempted to begin an acting career.
Her camp didn't comment to the magazine about the story.
