Lorenzo Alexander Wants a Piece of Zdeno Chara

Several D.C. athletes were in attendance at Monday's Game 3 between the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins at Verizon Center, including the Washington Redskins' Ryan Kerrigan and D.C. United's Perry Kitchen.

But it was the Redskins' Lorenzo Alexander who was not content with just watching -- he wanted a piece of the action.

By "#34," Alexander meant #33, or Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara. The tale of the tape has Chara with the distinct height advantge of 6'9" to Alexander's 6'1", but Alexander has a 20-pound weight advantage (275-255).

We can only hope that both Chara and Alexander become so washed up at some point that they have to fight in some sort of celebrity boxing event so that we can see this actually happen.
