On-again, off-again couple Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are officially off-again, sources told People magazine Thursday.
The couple called it quits just weeks after they posed at the Academy Awards, where Aniston was a presenter and Mayer had his debut as an "Oscar boyfriend."
The "Friends" alum, 40, and the guitarist, 31, allegedly had "disagreements" that led to the split - their second official breakup since the relationship began in 2008.
"They had some disagreements and decided not to continue to see each other," one source close to the couple told People.
Reports also surfaced that Mayer dumped Aniston after she got back from a whirlwind tour of Europe to promote feel-good flick "Marley & Me."
Aniston has suffered more than one heartbreak in recent years - ex-hubby Brad Pitt divorced Aniston for do-gooder sexpot Angelina Jolie, who he met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" while he and Aniston were still married.
But Aniston was dealing well with the break-up this time, sources said.
"Jen is moving on with her life like she always does. She seems happy," a source said.
Aniston is set to begin shooting this spring on "The Baster," a comedy she'll film in New York City with Arrested Development star Jason Bateman.
The actress said in a recent interview that no relationship could last forever - and that aiming for a lifetime commitment was unrealistic.
"That's hoping for too much," Aniston told London's Daily Mail.
The couple's publicists have yet to confirm the breakup.
