Police Seek Public's Help to Solve 2002 Homicide Case

ASHLAND, Va. (AP) — Police are asking for the public’s help to solve a 15-year-old homicide investigation in central Virginia.

Local news media outlets report that this week marks 15 years since Truman Stanley was found dead in his Ashland home.

Ashland Police Chief Doug Goodman says Stanley’s family hasn’t been able to “receive the justice they deserve.” Goodman is asking anyone with information about Stanley’s death to contact authorities at (804) 412-0625 or (804) 780-1000.
