WASHINGTON — As what is expected to be a day full of strong storms begins, power outages are beginning in several spots across the region.
Dominion Virginia Power reports that about 1,000 customers are without service in the Fairfax area. A Dominion spokesman says crews are working on the problem, but it’s not clear when power will be restored.
Pepco reports about 2,300 customers without power in Prince George’s County, and almost 300 customers in Silver Spring.
