WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Park Police says they’ve arrested a man in connection with an incident in Franklin Park in downtown Washington in which shots were fired.
Park Police say 32-year-old Kerwin Leon Bowman of Washington was arrested Friday. Police say no one was injured in the shooting, which happened around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 12, and four shell casings were found.
Police say a gun matching the weapon used in the crime was recovered and that Bowman is charged with felony possession of a firearm.
His attorney, Karen Minor, declined to comment on the case when reached Tuesday.
