Clinton to Stop in Columbus in Visit to Swing State Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Hillary Clinton plans to make a campaign stop in Columbus next week as part of a three-state trip that includes battleground Ohio.

The presumptive Democratic presidential candidate is expected to hold an event Wednesday in the Columbus area. Details about the visit were not immediately announced by Clinton’s campaign. She also plans stop in Virginia and North Carolina on Tuesday.

Clinton was in Cleveland earlier this week. She delivered a national security address Monday in Cleveland. She had planned to appear later that same day at a private fundraiser at the home of Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley, but it was postponed out of respect to the victims of the mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub.
