FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — A church in downtown Frederick is hosting a candlelight vigil for victims of the nightclub shootings in Orlando, Florida.
The Frederick Center for Diversity in a Changing World says on its Facebook page that the event will be held from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ.
The group is asking the community to come together to reject hate and homophobia while embracing each other, the city of Orlando, and the LGBT community.
