Dalmatians Survive Saudi Arabia, Arrive at Dulles

Two Dalmatians facing death in Saudi Arabia have been saved and are arriving at Dulles International Airport Tuesday afternoon.

Pongo and Juree were abandoned in Saudi Arabia and have been in a kennel for two years. The kennel was going to put the Dalmatians to sleep before an American woman working for an oil company in Saudi Arabia contacted Dalmatian Rescue of Southwest Virginia.

The rescue league agreed to take the dogs, and the woman spent about $3,000 to ship them to the States.

One of the dogs' adopters, Maryland firefighter Tom Miller, planned to meet the dogs when they arrive at Dulles.
