- Virginia Wine Festival:
The Virginia Wine Festival, held Sept. 18-19 at Bull Run Park, is said to be the longest-running wine festival on the East Coast.

- Mount Vernon Fall Wine Festival & Sunset Tour:
Good ol' George would be proud of your wine-drinking skills at Mount Vernon Oct. 1-3. Check out the rarely open basement cellar vaults, sample wines and eat some cheese. History with a side of potent grape juice... what could be better?

- Chrysalis Vineyards' 10th Annual Norton Wine & Bluegrass Festival:
