3/8: Crowd Control with Kidz in the Hall

Plus, a Caucus Room Dinner With Shakespeare and Music Night at Marvin

SCHOOL DAZE: These aren’t your regular schoolkids, nor are they on their best behavior. The Crowd Control Tour brings together four names who band together to save your city (or something like that). They're coming to the 9:30 Club (815 V St. N.W.) for an explosive performance. The tour includes Kidz in the Hall, 88-Keys, Izza Kizza and Donnis. 7 p.m.; $20.

ROYAL DINNER: For all you Bard fans, enjoy a royally inspired four-course dinner paired with assorted wines at The Caucus Room (401 9th St. N.W.), as the Shakespeare Company takes guests behind the scenes of Williams Shakespeare’s "Richard II" and "Henry V." 6:30 p.m.; $95 per person.

JAM SESSION: Come get your daily dose of The Main Ingredient at Marvin (2007 14th St. N.W.), a drinking-establishment tribute to Shaw's own Marvin Gaye. Enjoy bar specials and groove to the sounds of DJ Jahsonic mixing the turntables for a lively mix of classic R&B, hip-hop and funk music. 9 p.m.-1 a.m.; no cover.
