Lion Cubs Wrestle, Frolic in Snow at National Zoo

Smithsonian's National Zoo

It may be absolutely freezing outside, but that didn't stop the National Zoo's six lion cubs from wrestling in the snow.

The zoo caught this magical frolicking on video Tuesday, basically just to get us to melt from the cuteness.

The zoo's six cubs -- Amahle, Jumbe, Eva, Desta, Chisulo and Shaka -- live and play in the Great Cats Exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Zoo. Although they are African lions from the savannah, they can tolerate the cooler temperatures.

The zoo also provides outdoor heaters and indoor dens for a cozy escape from the snow when the cubs are done entertaining themselves (and us).

We can all thank the Circle of Life for granting us this afternoon adorableness.
