The annual Taste of Frederick event used to dish up seriously delicious food and fun for the community -- at least until the recession hit in 2008. But it's returning this summer with a grand slam event featuring Carolina League baseball champs the Frederick Keys.

Foodies and families will be able to enjoy an entire day of feasting, fun and baseball with the comeback of the annual event, which returns July 19.

More than 20 restaurants will be serving up samples of their best dishes at Harry Grove Stadium (21 Stadium Drive, Frederick, Maryland) from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., that day, and the Keys will follow with a baseball game against Potomac at 6 p.m.
