The Screen on the Green summer movie series is kicking off its lineup Monday on the National Mall.
The free outdoor movie festival will begins Monday with "E.T.,"' followed by "Norma Rae" on July 29, "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" on Aug. 5 and "Tootsie" on Aug. 12.
This is the 15th year of the series.
The screen is set up on the National Mall between 7th and 12th streets. The screen is typically set up on 7th, so if you're aiming to get the best seats, arrive early and start there.
All movies begin at sunset. Bring blankets, picnics, and although you can bring lawn chairs, you'll have to fold them up when the movie begins.
