Cops Sent To Playboy Mansion After Report Of Shots Being Fired

Hugh Hefner's Thursday night backgammon game had a few unexpected players show up – the LAPD.

A rep for Playboy and a spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed to Access Hollywood that police showed up to the Playboy Mansion after receiving a call about gun shots being heard. The police search the grounds of the estate and found nothing suspicious.

The Playboy rep told Access the call turned out to be a hoax.

The rep went on to say that Hef was at home Thursday night and that it was very possible he was in the middle of his usual Thursday night backgammon game when the police arrived.
