Some of my fondest childhood memories involve caves. Not because I grew up under the ever-negligent eye of the parents from "The Goonies," but because every so often, my parents would wrangle us into the back of our minivan and drive us to some of the region's coolest caverns.
Endless Caverns is a cavern in the same cool vein and can make for an unforgettable family trip, or a just-as-awesome grownup adventure.
Located in the Shenandoah Valley, the caverns showcase some of the more beautiful natural formations Virginia has to offer, with multiple "rooms" including the Yosemite Room and Fairyland.
