Welcome to Watch List, where we identify five things on TV to watch while you stay at home and caramelize the Weetabix. LET’S GO!
CURIOSITY: WHY IS SEX FUN? – 8:00PM Sunday (Discovery) You know, if you have to ask, you probably aren't doing it right. I keed, I keed. This Discovery show takes a look at the science behind the female orgasm (oooh!). Maggie Gyllenhaal is your host, and given her performance in "Secretary," I'd say she knows quite a bit about this particular subject. ANTICIPATION: HORNY!
MEGA SHARK VS. CROCOSAURUS – 9:00PM Saturday (SyFy - an NBC/Universal network) If you think the title of this magnum SyFy opus tells you everything you need to know, you are WRONG, because it fails to alert you to the fact that Jaleel White is the top billed star. So it's really Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus vs. Urkel. This 2010 movie was called "a tedious and horrific mess" by one critic. Finally, a movie that lives up to its expectations. Was that so hard, Hollywood? ANTICIPATION: FREAKIN' CROCOSAURUSES!
BIG EASY BRIDES – 10:00PM Sunday (WE) Follow New Orleans wedding chapel owners Tony and Lou Ann Talavera as they help people get married very quickly and get that same marriage annulled even quicker. Your first wedding in the premiere is one with a trailer park theme. Why wouldn't you just have the wedding IN a trailer park then? It's not like a Cinderella-themed wedding, where you'd need a pumpkin coach. A trailer park wedding is feasible. ANTICIPATION: TRASHY GOOD!
MY COLLECTION OBSESSION – 10:00PM Sunday (TLC) There's such a fine line between collecting and hoarding, and you'll meet some folks Sunday night who have probably stepped over it, like a 16-year-old who collects vacuum cleaners (but how do you vacuum around them?), and a bunch of obsessive Dolly Parton fans. Being a Dolly Parton collector is a shrewd hobby, since the singer auctions off her own parts at a frequent pace. ANTICIPATION: CRAZYTOWN!
IN THE FLOW WITH AFFION CROCKETT – 9:30PM Sunday (FOX) Wait, this is a show? When did this happen? Affion Crockett is a real name? Sounds like a John Grisham villain. ANTICIPATION: LAFFION WITH AFFION!
